Cole Payton

From an analytical perspective Payton is the best QB in the draft. He had a 90+ PFF Pass and PFF Rush grade which is unheard of. Yes, he gets dinged for playing at NDSU and not facing the elite defenses of the SEC or any major conference week-to-week. Payton is an unorthodox lefty but the fact remains that he balled out this year and likely has the makings of an NFL QB. The decision making, athleticism and arm talent is there; the question that remains is how he fares against better competition.
